My name is Laura Perry.
I am married to my wonderful husband and together we have two great boys who attend our school.
God brought me to Prince Edward Island 16 years ago to teach Kindergarten at Grace Christian School.
I have been teaching for 10 years, and I love it.
To spend the day with young ones who are eager to learn and play brings some challenges, but it is also a great fulfillment to me. I get excited to see the children grasp sounds and grow with our great phonics program!
It is important to me that children feel they are accepted and that they belong to a group. In our class we become a community of friends quickly. We share with, and take care of each other. This is a beautiful thing to see with such young children!
Teaching them about God’s word and loving your neighbour are key values we grow and develop all year-long.
It is my desire for the children under my care to know that God loves them, that we be kind to our neighbours, and serve others in loving ways. All this while learning the three “R’s”!
